Clément Souchet is a 21-year-old photographer living and working in Montreal. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Journalism, he began photography amidst the bustling streets of Paris.

After an internship with the American agency "Associated Press," he honed his eye during the Yellow Vest movement, starting in 2018.

This commitment, week after week, led him to work for several years on various activist movements that animated the streets of the French capital.

At just 18 years old, he began a position at the editorial office of "Le Devoir", a renowned Francophone newspaper across Canada.

Clément Souchet explores themes of migration, social conflict, and the return to life in countries ravaged by war. This is what took him, at the ages of 19 and 20, to Ukraine, a country shaken by years of conflict.

Through his work, the photographer aims to capture images that are striking, telling, informative, and thought-provoking. He wants to give these subjects the chance to speak out about their struggles and traumas.

He has just returned from Colombia, where he worked on his first documentary and started a long-term project on the impact of football as a tool for inclusion for youth in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
